Fun Things To Do This Summer With Kids!

Travel plans on hold? Camp canceled? Social distancing from your friends?

This is definitely not the summer most of us had envisioned at the start of 2020.

While there are many restrictions on summer activities, you can still have an amazing summer inside with your family! Here are three great ways to keep this summer fun and exciting for you and your kids.

1) Bake Off!

One thing my family loves is all types of cooking competition TV shows from Cake Wars to Chopped. A great family activity is to flip through some old cookbooks or recipes online, choose a dish and have a family cooking competition.

2) Pinterest Art!

Crafts are always a fun idea and a great creative outlet for kids. Pinterest has a wide range of ideas for small to big crafts for any age. Art is a great way to pass time, relax and channel your creativity.

3) Plant some flowers!

An inexpensive and fun activity is to plant some flowers in your yard. Each day you can track their progress and be proud of the work you have done. My personal favorite is sunflowers because of how quickly they grow and how extremely tall they get!

Making the most of this time with your family is super important! It's also important to take time for yourself! Mindfulness and alone time can help you reset and have more patience with your family.  One way to do this is through neurofeedback! Neurofeedback can help you maximize your alone time so you feel ready and refreshed for a full day of family fun.

Based in San Francisco, Neurofeedback SF offers this opportunity to utilize neurofeedback machines to improve your mental health and mindfulness.

Let's make this a summer filled with fun, creativity and mindfulness.
